Amy Lauerhass has had substantial experience in the residential arena.
Her designs span from a front porch to a new 12,000 sf home, and everything in between. She has been a senior project manager for 25+ years, and is involved in every aspect of a project including: initial client meetings, measuring existing homes, schematic design, design development, construction documents, structural design, city approvals, and construction management.
Lauerhass Architecture specializes in the renovation and expansion of older homes. We proudly serve neighborhoods such as Bexley, Upper Arlington, Westerville, Clintonville, Grandview Heights, and Worthington, breathing new life into these timeless spaces.
Our primary goal is to understand and achieve our clients' vision, ensuring their homes reflect their needs and aspirations. As passionate caretakers of older homes, we focus on preserving their unique charm while modernizing and expanding them for today’s lifestyle—creating spaces that will continue to serve future generations.
Amy attended the University of Cincinnati, where she received her Bachelor of Architecture in 1995. She received her license to practice architecture in 1998. After 18+ years at a small residential design firm, Lauerhass Architecture was founded in January of 2014.
Amy lives in Bexley, Ohio with her husband of 30 years. Her two children are grown and currently living in Phoenix & Northern California. She is active in her local church community, is currently serving as a board member on the Bexley Education Foundation, and is involved with the Bexley Women's Club. In her spare time, Amy enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling.
